Safari Adventure - Botswana
Safari Adventure - Botswana was filmed entirely on location in four different safari hunting camps in Botswana. A must see safari hunting DVD for the African hunter. The outfitter was Swanapoel & Scandrol Safari's. The PH's were Doug Scandrol and Russell Tarr. This was a Big 4 Safari (no rhino since you can't shoot rhino in Botswana) where Brook Minx connected with not 1 but 2 elephant, one with a finishing shot charge and each jumbo was 60 pounds per tusk plus, scoring 146 & 152 in the world. The Kalahari lion was taken and finished at 15 feet with his charge. The leopard was finished with a charge at the truck. Two outstanding Cape buffalo were taken, 44+ inch spread, scoring No. 38 and No. 41 in the world respectively. The Cape Eland is No. 3 in the world and the Livingstone Eland is No. 10 in the world. Trophies also taken include are 3 kudu, 2 gemsbok, wildebeest (No. 29 in the world), red cape hartebeest (No. 29 in the world), steenbok and ostrich. 17 trophies in all taken in 28 days of action packed safari hunting. Safari Adventure - New Mexico
The Mescalero Apache Reservation in the high plateaus and mountains of southwest New Mexico is synonymous with Big Bull Elk hunting. Since 1975 the people of this rugged wilderness have sought to maintain their elk herd of 5,000 elk on 460,000 unfenced acres through the "Conservation through Utilization" principal. It was here that hunter/ explorer Brook Minx journeyed with the Safari Adventure team to undertake a bull elk hunting video with Mescalero Big Game Hunts and guide Josh Adams.
